We represented a non-profit environmental group advocating against the development of a pristine barrier island into an “eco-tourism resort.” After the county board of zoning appeals denied the developer’s request for a special use permit, the developer appealed the case to the circuit court. We successfully intervened in the appeal and defended the board of zoning appeals’ decision. Our careful review and analysis of the record before the board of zoning appeals helped make the judge’s decision an easy one in this case.
