We represented a minority owner in a successful local business. The majority owner was not treating our client fairly or equitably. Decisions were being made without our client’s input and to his detriment.
We filed a lawsuit against the majority owner, the business seeking damages, and the dissolution of the business based on the bad conduct of the owner. The defendants did everything possible to delay the case and harass the client. There were numerous appeals filed which were ultimately rejected by the courts. Finally, after our hard work and perseverance, our client was able to sell his interest in the company for a fair amount, recover his costs, and was awarded interest and damages for having to litigate the case.
