Tom is a dynamic and committed business law and civil litigation attorney, proudly serving clients in the Charleston area and across South Carolina. Tom’s passion for advocacy, at both the trial court and appellate level, allows him to provide clients with comprehensive representation at every stage of the legal process. Tom’s practice focuses on helping clients with a variety of legal matters such as contract drafting, mergers and acquisitions, complex commercial and business litigation, and property disputes. Additionally, Tom offers consulting services on zoning and land use issues, helping clients navigate regulatory challenges with confidence and expertise.

Originally hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Tom has called Charleston home since 2018. Before becoming an attorney Tom received a degree in finance from Virginia Commonwealth University and worked in mortgage lending at Capital One. Tom later pursued his legal education at the Charleston School of Law, where he earned his J.D. and distinguished himself as a standout student.

During his time in law school, Tom was recognized as a presidential scholar and received Cali Awards of Excellence in Contract Drafting and Eminent Domain and Takings. Outside the classroom, Tom was a finalist in the school’s internal moot court competition, worked as a research assistant for Professor Dylan Malagrinò, and also had the privilege of externing for the Honorable Richard Gergel, U.S. District Judge for South Carolina, gaining invaluable insights into federal judicial proceedings before graduating.
